A “Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar” was organized by our department’s undergraduate student society BESCO.
On October 24, 2023, the İYTE Bioengineering Student Society (BESCO) organized a “Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar.” The event, held at the İYTE Performance Center, hosted Assoc. Prof. Merve Gürsoy Bulut from the Radiology Department and Prof. Dr. Murat Kemal Atahan from the General Surgery Department at İzmir Katip Çelebi University Faculty of Medicine. Throughout the event, participants were informed about breast health, with an emphasis on breast cancer awareness and the importance of early diagnosis.
