IZTECH Department of Bioengineering aims to train experts for academia and industry in three core areas of bioengineering, which are Molecular and Cellular Bioengineering, Biomedical Technologies and Bioprocess Engineering, conduct high impact and innovative scientific research, pioneer translational research that could be transferred to industry, and provide expertise to public sector in bioengineering field.

Department of Bioengineering, which is focused high quality education in the field of bioengineering, trains specialists who will produce high value technologies, products and information using innovative bioengineering approaches to solve problems in national and international priority areas such as first and foremost health and pharmaceutical industry, and environmental and energy industry.
